The Fremont Lake Regatta is over with for the year.  Check out the great photos by clicking here.  The turn out was amazing, with 27 boats competing.

Saturday had reasonable wind and we were able to run all 3 races on schedule, but Sunday left us drifting on the first race of the day, and the second race tested everyone’s ability to eek the most speed out of their boat with the lightest of breeze.

Lakeside Lodge is always so gracious to host this event, We are grateful that such a facility exists, and the owners allow us to use it each year. Thank you!

Lakeside Restaurant cooked a great dinner for the banquet of baked chicken, rice, corn, and baked potato. 

And of course we couldn’t have a regatta without a race committee! Thanks to Cheryl Essington, Flo Retel, and John & Jackie Godfrey. And to our safety boats maned by Jeff Goltz and Joe Retel.

Thanks to all of the participants and spectators, without who we wouldn’t have an event at all.
